Persist Billiard Review - Wholesale Snooker Equipment in KL

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Persist Billiard, operating under Persist Group Sdn Bhd, is a wholesale and retail billiard equipment supplier based in Pandan Indah, Ampang, on the eastern edge of Kuala Lumpur. What distinguishes Persist from many of KL's snooker retailers is its multi-branch operation, with locations spanning KL, Selangor, and Johor Bahru. This geographic reach, combined with a wholesale capability, positions it as a supplier that serves both individual buyers and commercial operations like snooker halls and recreation centres.

Wholesale and Retail Model

Persist Billiard operates at both the wholesale and retail level. For individual players, this means you can walk in and buy a cue, accessories, or other equipment at retail prices. For hall operators, event organisers, or businesses fitting out a recreation space, the wholesale side of the operation offers the potential for bulk pricing and a wider range of commercial-grade equipment.

This dual model is relatively uncommon in the Malaysian snooker market. Most retailers operate purely at the consumer level, while most wholesalers do not engage directly with individual buyers. Persist bridges that gap. The company's Sdn Bhd (private limited) registration under the Persist Group name also suggests a more formalised business structure than many of the smaller, family-run snooker shops in KL.

Multi-Branch Presence

Having branches in KL, Selangor, and Johor Bahru gives Persist Billiard broader coverage than most competitors. For buyers in the Klang Valley, the Ampang headquarters is accessible from the eastern side of KL. The Selangor branch extends reach into the state's populous suburban areas. The JB branch is significant because Johor's snooker scene is growing, and having a local supplier saves JB-based operators the cost and inconvenience of sourcing everything from KL.

We do not have confirmed addresses for the Selangor and JB branches at the time of writing. If you are outside KL and want to visit a specific branch, contact Persist directly on +60 18-372 9897 or through their website at persistbilliard.com for the nearest location.

Product Range

As a dedicated billiard supplier, Persist Billiard's product range is expected to cover the core categories: cues (snooker and pool), tables, cloth, balls, tips, chalk, cases, extensions, and maintenance accessories. The specific brands stocked and current inventory are best confirmed through their website or by calling ahead. For players looking to compare cue options across retailers, Cue Station at Berjaya Times Square offers the largest in-store cue selection in KL, while Comet (CM1) in Cheras is the go-to for locally manufactured tables and Aramith products.

If you are a hall operator looking to fit out or re-equip a venue, Persist's wholesale capability is worth exploring. Table purchases at the commercial level involve significant logistics, including delivery, installation, and levelling, and working with a supplier that has multi-branch infrastructure can simplify the process. Our table buying guide details what to consider when purchasing tables at any scale.

The Ampang Location

The headquarters at 22G, Jalan Pandan Indah 4/6 is in the Pandan Indah commercial area of Ampang. This is an eastern suburb of KL, accessible from the MRR2 and the Ampang-KL Elevated Highway. Parking in commercial shophouse areas like Pandan Indah is generally straightforward compared to central KL malls. The trade-off is that it is not a destination most casual browsers would stumble upon. This is the kind of shop you visit because you know what you need, not because you happened to be walking past.

Online Presence

Persist Billiard maintains a website at persistbilliard.com. For buyers who prefer to browse before visiting, the website may offer product listings, pricing, and contact information for specific branches. Online ordering capability and delivery terms should be confirmed directly. In a market where many snooker retailers still rely heavily on walk-in trade and social media rather than proper e-commerce, having a dedicated website is a positive indicator of how the business operates.

Who Should Consider Persist Billiard

Persist Billiard is best suited for two groups: commercial buyers (hall operators, recreation centres, event companies) who need wholesale pricing and reliable supply across multiple locations, and individual buyers in the Ampang or eastern KL area who want a dedicated billiard supplier without travelling to central KL. The multi-branch model and Sdn Bhd structure suggest a business geared towards reliability and scale rather than boutique retail.
