31 Snooker Review - Snooker Hall in Sungai Petani, Kedah

Last updated: 30 September 2026

31 Snooker is a snooker hall in Kedah located at Rimbunan Lot 1344-A near Kampung Baru Pulau Tiga in Sungai Petani. This is a neighbourhood venue with clearly defined evening hours: 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM daily. The operating window tells you a lot about who this hall serves -- it is an after-work, after-school venue for local residents who want a few frames during the evening before heading home at a reasonable hour.

Location Near Kampung Baru Pulau Tiga

The Kampung Baru Pulau Tiga area is on the outskirts of Sungai Petani, in a more semi-rural setting than the city centre. The "Rimbunan" lot designation and kampung address indicate this is not a commercial-zone venue but rather a hall that has grown organically in a residential or village area. This kind of setting is common in Malaysian states outside the major cities, where snooker halls often operate in less formal commercial spaces.

For players in the Pulau Tiga area, 31 Snooker offers the convenience of a local venue without needing to drive into central Sungai Petani. For those in the city centre, the trip out to this area may only be worthwhile if other venues are full or closed. Using a navigation app is recommended for first-time visitors, as kampung-area addresses can be difficult to locate without local knowledge.

Evening-Only Hours

The 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM schedule is distinctive. Most snooker halls in Malaysia open around noon and close well past midnight. The 3:30 PM start means 31 Snooker is not available for lunchtime or early afternoon play, while the 11:30 PM closing means this is not a late-night option. The eight-hour window is compact but practical for the venue's target audience: evening players who play a few frames after work or during their free time.

If you need earlier or later hours, Sungai Petani has alternatives. 55 Snooker Center in Lagenda Heights is recently renovated and can be contacted at 011-5556 7255 to check hours. Kingston Snooker Sport Centre in Taman Patani Jaya is another option. For late-night play specifically, you may need to look at venues in other states like Kuala Lumpur or Johor, which have halls open until 2 AM or later.

Playing Environment

Detailed information about 31 Snooker's table quality, brands, and total count is not available. As a neighbourhood hall in a semi-rural area, the venue likely offers a casual, no-frills playing environment. Pricing is expected to be affordable, consistent with the Kedah market where rates are generally lower than urban centres in Selangor or Penang.

Community halls at this scale serve an important role in Malaysian snooker. They keep the game accessible and visible in areas where players might not otherwise have a convenient place to play. What We Cannot Confirm

Beyond the address and operating hours, most details about 31 Snooker remain unverified. There is no published phone number or website. We could not confirm pricing, table specifications, air conditioning status, or food and drink availability. The kampung-area location may mean the venue operates more informally than commercial-zone halls, so expect a casual, local atmosphere when visiting.
