Mutiara Snooker Review - Snooker Hall in Kota Bharu, Kelantan

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Mutiara Snooker is a snooker hall in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, located within the Billion Shopping Centre. Beyond this basic location information, publicly available details about the venue are extremely limited. We include it in our directory because Kelantan has very few snooker options, and even minimal information is better than none for players searching in the area.

What We Know About Mutiara Snooker in Kota Bharu

The confirmed facts are straightforward: Mutiara Snooker exists (or has existed) within the Billion Shopping Centre in Kota Bharu. Being inside a shopping centre provides the standard benefits of mall-based venues: air conditioning, parking, food options nearby, and a generally safe, family-accessible environment. Billion Shopping Centre is a known retail destination in Kota Bharu, so finding it should not be difficult.

Beyond the location, we cannot confirm the number of tables, table types or brands, pricing, operating hours, or contact information. There are no published reviews, no social media presence, and no business directory listings with additional details that we could find during our research.

Mall-Based Snooker in Kelantan

It is worth noting that both of Kota Bharu's identified snooker venues are mall-based. Riley Snooker operates from KB Mall with 42 tables including 12 steel bar snooker tables, making it the much larger and better-documented option. Mutiara Snooker at Billion Shopping Centre is the alternative, though without confirmed details, it is impossible to make a meaningful comparison between the two.

Mall-based venues in Kelantan tend to follow the mall's operating hours, which typically means opening around 10 AM and closing between 9 PM and 10 PM. This is speculation based on typical patterns rather than confirmed information for Mutiara specifically, but it is a reasonable expectation.

Should You Visit Mutiara Snooker?

If you are already shopping at Billion Shopping Centre and want to play a few frames, checking whether Mutiara Snooker is open is easy enough. The venue is right there. However, if you are making a specific trip to play snooker in Kota Bharu, Riley Snooker at KB Mall is the more reliable choice with confirmed table counts, a phone number, and a no-smoking policy.

For players new to snooker who might be visiting either venue, our beginner's rules guide covers the basics, and our snooker vs pool comparison explains the key differences you will encounter at venues that offer both games.

The Kelantan Snooker Landscape

Kelantan is not a major snooker state. With only two identified venues, both in Kota Bharu, players outside the capital have no documented local options. The nearest alternatives are in Terengganu to the south, where venues like Conway Snooker have been operating for decades. For equipment purchases, there are no dedicated snooker retailers in Kelantan, so cue buying would need to happen online or via retailers in Kuala Lumpur.
