Smart Q Snooker Review - Snooker Hall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Smart Q Snooker is a snooker hall located at Prima Avenue in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Situated in one of PJ's commercial areas, it serves the local community of snooker players looking for a convenient place to play without having to travel far from home or work. PJ is one of the Klang Valley's most active areas for cue sports, and Smart Q is part of the cluster of halls that give the city its strong snooker presence.

Location at Prima Avenue

Prima Avenue is a mixed-use development in Petaling Jaya with commercial shops and F&B outlets at street level. For Smart Q Snooker, this means the venue benefits from the foot traffic and amenities that come with a commercial centre location. Parking should be available within the Prima Avenue complex, and the surrounding area typically has food options for a meal before or after your game. PJ's road network connects well to the Federal Highway, LDP, and NKVE, so players from across the Klang Valley can reach the venue without too much difficulty.

The PJ snooker corridor is competitive. Within a reasonable driving distance, players can also find Pelangi Snooker (with added darts), Pusat Snooker Gemilang, A Que Snooker & Pool Centre at Leisure Commerce Square, and Neumann Snooker KL in SS7, which doubles as a cue showroom. This competition generally works in the player's favour, as halls need to maintain good standards to stay relevant.

What We Know

We should be straightforward about the limitations of this review. Publicly available details about Smart Q Snooker are thin. We do not have confirmed information about operating hours, table count, table brands, cloth specifications, hourly pricing, or whether any food or beverages are available on-site. The venue's online presence is minimal, which is common among neighbourhood snooker halls in Malaysia that rely more on their local reputation than digital marketing.

What we can infer from its location and category is that Smart Q likely operates as a standard snooker hall aimed at the local PJ market. Halls at this level typically offer a mix of snooker and pool tables, charge hourly rates roughly in the RM12-24 range, and provide a basic but functional playing environment with air conditioning and house cues.

Playing Snooker in Petaling Jaya

PJ is one of the best places in Malaysia to be a snooker player. The density of halls means there is genuine choice, and competition between venues keeps standards reasonable. Whether you prefer a modern lounge-style venue like Looi Snooker or a more traditional neighbourhood hall, PJ has options for every preference and budget.

For players looking to buy equipment in the area, Immortal Cue Station HQ in nearby Kota Damansara is one of the most prominent cue retailers in the country, with 21 branches nationwide and cues starting from RM88. In central KL, Cue Station at Berjaya Times Square offers the widest selection of branded cues. Having both playing halls and retail outlets in close proximity is one of PJ's biggest advantages for the cue sports community.

Who Should Visit Smart Q Snooker

Smart Q Snooker is most likely to appeal to PJ locals looking for a convenient nearby hall and regular players who already know the venue. Without confirmed details about table quality and pricing, we cannot make a strong recommendation for players who are specifically seeking out the best table experience in Selangor. However, if you live or work near Prima Avenue and want a place to play without a long commute, Smart Q deserves a look.
